Dozens of characters are evaluated across various classes, including Vanguards, Snipers, and Medics, detailing their stats, skills, and overall effectiveness.
Vanguards include characters like Yato, whose HP is 1030 with an attack of 262 and a defense of 192. Yato has a cost of 7 and can block 2 enemies, but lacks significant offensive capabilities and has a long skill cooldown. Another Vanguard, Plume, has higher HP at 1226 and boasts an attack of 495, making her a decent early game option despite her low defense of 279. She costs 10 and can block 1 enemy, gaining +1 cost on kills and a full cost refund on retreat. Vanilla, with HP 1325, can reduce her self-cost by 1 and has a solid defense of 310, but struggles against armored enemies. Fang, another Vanguard, has HP 1845 and is noted for her excellent attack potential, easily outclassing Plume with an attack of 618 and a defense of 351. She has a cost of 11 and can block 2 enemies, making her a strong choice for early to mid-game.
Snipers feature characters like Rangers, who have a low cost of 7 and prioritize air units, with an HP of 780 and an attack of 299. Adnachiel, costing 11, also targets air units and has a crit chance that allows her to deal significant damage, while Kroos, another sniper, offers AOE attacks and is a cheaper alternative to Shirayuki. Jessica, with a cost of 12, excels with her ability to attack multiple targets and has an attack of 540, but struggles to justify her position against higher-tier snipers. Meteor, with an HP of 1630, offers AOE attacks and can deal magic damage, making her effective against tanks.
Medics include Lancet-2, who can heal all allies for up to 500 HP when deployed, but has low defense and is vulnerable. Ansel, costing 17, has a unique attack range and a chance to heal additional allies, while Hibiscus, also costing 17, can heal up to 3 units simultaneously and provides passive HP regeneration. Perfumer stands out with her ability to buff other medics, while Myrrh offers a mix of single-target and multi-target healing, making her a versatile option. Sussurro, with a cost of 18, can heal multiple targets and provides significant attack buffs, while Warfarin enhances SP recovery for allies and can heal multiple units as well.
In evaluating character viability, it’s important to note that 1* and 2* units max out at level 30, while 3* units can reach E1 level 55. Higher-tier characters, such as 4*, 5*, and 6* units, have maximum levels of E2 level 70, 80, and 90 respectively. While lower-tier characters can be effective early on, they often become outscaled by higher-tier units. For optimal resource allocation, it is advised to max out 1* and 2* units but limit 3* units to E1 level 30 unless they are exceptional cases like Fang and Melantha. For 4* units, many are strong and meta, making them worthwhile to level up without hesitation. However, for characters that have higher-tier counterparts, it may be prudent to delay their E2 upgrades unless there is a strong personal preference.
